I would like to comment on my visit Wednesday, July 8th to the Out Patient department - Nurse Laura was professional, outstanding and most of all compassionate during my afternoon of testing. Aware of my concerns, she took the time to listen and provide a sense of caring one does not often see in this situation. She turned a very scary visit into an exceptional experience. I had never been to Palm Bay hospital, and can say with conviction I will return. Please recognize this outstanding lady. Maggie

Amazing came from out of state and had an emergency and within seconds not only did I feel right at home they took my issue seriously and had me right in and out with proper care! Hands down best experience ever at any hospital

Not many people think to write positive reviews for hospitals, but I felt compelled to share my experience at Palm Bay Hospital. I recently had outpatient laparoscopic robotic surgery here with Dr. Hammoud. I was honestly a bit hesitant beforehand based on some other reviews I had read, but my experience was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The great service started in the parking lot when a friendly golf cart driver picked us up right at our car. Once inside, everything ran incredibly smoothly. My surgery was on time with no unnecessary waiting. Every staff member I encountered was comforting, caring, and highly capable, which put me completely at ease. And of course, Dr. Hammoud was exceptional. This hospital and its team provided top-notch care.

First of all the nursing staff are top Notch! Very careing. But..... these drs are a different story! My wife has been in and out of the hospital 5 times by ambulance! Each time and these drs give her a different story whats wrong with her! One dr says its her heart and we can give her medicine to fix it and by the next day another dr says its her lungs!!! Theses drs are not on the same page! Its very discouraging when its going to happen again! she will be back in the hospital again. I believe these drs dont know really whats wrong with her! Im Afraid next time she might not make it and these stupid drs haven't resolve her issues

Giving a 1-star is being generous because if it were up to me they would get ZERO. My mom spent a 4-day hospital stay here for being in A-Fib, had a heart attack, and was found to be in heart failure. My mom is an ill individual requiring a lot of medications and doctors appointments. While she was in the er for a full 24 hours before she was moved into a room (after being moved 6 times throughout the er from room to room, all of the er staff (nurses, physicians, even pharmacy staff) advised me they would catch her up on ALL of her medications because she missed her morning pills from being at the drs earlier in the morning that day and then being sent to the hospital from her PCP. She went that whole day and night and the following morning not getting any of her medications until the following evening and even that after reviewing her medication list several times they only gave her about half of what she is supposed to be taking. She was having difficulty breathing and unable to breathe without wheezing that ANYBODY could hear. Her nurse hears it and says she would be back with a breathing treatment for her to do.
